I woke up neked...

Natural finish. Bought a new snare yesterday, need a new head and stand.

Both hot. Listening to the new Hot Snakes and Blood Brothers records incessantly.

I'm thinking that Susan was briskly parading through the downtown quarter accompanied by various squirrels and barnyard animals; hammocks enjoyed themselves for a change.

Have I thought about cowbells lately? Yes.
Do I enjoy the sound of the Vibraslap II? Hell, yes.
Chronically playing MVP Baseball ’04? Uhhhh, yes.
Do I know what message I carved into Brandon’s wall? No.

Show possibilities as soon as we finish some more songs. Soon, baby, soon. Had another offer yesterday. When I regretfully declined it I was told that we should just play the songs that we have...with barnyard animals following suit.

...to look gay like President Taft?

We practiced yesterday. Recorded two songs which didn't turn out sounding so great; recording quality issues. Worked on Brandon's mustache. Starting to take shape. Very mature.
Pump your guns. How am I supposed to dip this?

Next practice will see a new song and more honing. And genital grooming...I said it.

Respect the Plastic Twirly Men

Practice today was most excellent. We worked heavily on two songs, and things are looking solid. Practice again on Sunday, we'll sharpen those two and work on others. So, who knows what that will bring. Hopefully some new material and foosball death.
Weezer build-ups. Who/Q and Not U breakdown. Need for Mos Def rising.

No practice, but Cowbell DEATH!

This week we will not be practicing. Next week hopefully will see at least two practices and an acoustic rendition of Metallica's Black Album. 'Enter Sandman' indeed.

A quick retort of, "I know that."

Practice last night was tight. We finally got to play together as a full band and things sounded good. Songs are being reworked, lyrics written, and new jams jammed. All that, and we ate Popeye's and watched the debate. It shaped up to be the best summer I ever had.
